FAQs

 

All CALPCC memberships are set to automatically renew one year from your enrollment, with the exception of Lifetime memberships–which never expire.

1) Please fill out our form to Request Changes to your Membership » and select the option to "Update payment method." Our membership administrator will issue you email from our payment processor (Stripe) with the subject header, "Update your CALPCC subscription."

2)  From that Stripe email, just click the button to directly and securely update your credit card for your auto-renewal.

Please allow us 5 days to process your request.

 
 

Most find auto-renewal to be convenient, but not everyone wants an ongoing subscription. 

  • To cancel your auto-renewal subscription, please fill out this form to Request Changes to your Membership » and select the option to "Cancel auto-renewal."

    As these changes are not automated, please allow us 5 days to process your request. You can cancel your auto-renewal at any time from enrollment to 5 days before your renewal is due. Because of our no-refunds policy, we recommend doing this sooner than later.

  • Once we process your request, your membership will remain active until your membership expiration date, unless you opt to manually renew (see below).

 
 

It may be time to upgrade your membership from Student to Associate, Associate to Professional, or from any level to Lifetime. We’re here to help support your professional and licensure journey!

Below is how this works. As a temporary measure, this process requires purchasing your new membership--after which we will promptly reimburse you for the pro-rated remainder left on your former membership.

Please bear with us through this somewhat clunky process, as we are working on system changes in the coming months to better automate this.

1) Please fill out this form to Request Changes to your Membership » and beneath "Change/upgrade membership level:" select the new level you'd like to upgrade to. 

2) Our membership admin will reply and instruct you to purchase your new membership from the CALPCC Membership Application/Change Form ». When you’re logged in, most of these fields will be pre-filled out with your info, so the key change here is to select your new membership level.

3) Once you've purchased your new membership: please drop a note to hello@calpcc.org letting us know you've completed this! 

4) Our team will then handle the rest and will issue your pro-rated refund on your former membership, update your membership account, and send you a confirmation letting you know you’re all set. Please allow us up to 5 days to complete this process.

5) After you get this confirmation: we strongly encourage you to log in and update your profile »–you'll see new profile options specific to your new membership level in the "Key Info We Collect" section that's specific to your level:

  • If you've cancelled auto-renewal, you can still manually renew at any point before your expiration date.

    The easiest way is the "Click here to renew your membership" option directly from your My Memberships page » and complete the payment form, which will process and renew you immediately.

    Note: this will set your new renewal date automatically to 1 year from the date you complete this form, and this creates a new auto-renewal subscription.

  • If "Auto-renewal is activated" is listed under your membership, then you're already scheduled to auto-renew; manually renewing isn't an option while auto-renew is active.
  • If your expiration date has passed and your membership has lapsed, you will be unable to log in and will need to purchase a new membership from the main Membership Application Form with your same email address. This will automatically update your account and restore your login access.
 
 

To cancel your membership outright, please visit the My Memberships page » and in the box describing your membership details, click "Contact us to request membership cancellation." Please allow at least 5 days' processing time. If your auto-renewal subscription is active, we recommend requesting this well in advance of your scheduled renewal date.
